Alice in Elderland
Our most requested show to date, Alice in Elderland, Debbie Brown's hilarious original parody, features many familiar characters, all with memorable twists.
The actors each play multiple roles that leave the audience not only laughing, but reminiscing, and re-thinking what it means to enjoy the benefits of aging.

Common Threads
In letting go of an item, do we lose a piece of ourselves or provide an opportunity for a new story to begin?

Humors
Failure is Impossible
The League of Women Voters requested the performance of Failure is Impossible as part of a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment to take place in the Chippewa Valley in 2020. Unfortunately, much like the very story of suffrage itself, the celebration was delayed.
However, like the suffragists, the women of ECWIT persisted and the show was first performed at the historic Mabel Tainter Theater in 2022 - where Susan B Anthony herself stood so many years ago!
As a powerful representation of the history of suffrage, audiences have been surprised by the depth of emotion it evokes:

The Ugly Wolverine: Free Virtual Performance
In celebration of Norwegian-American literary giant, Waldemar Agar, ECWIT was commissioned to create and perform dramatizations of some of his writings. One such piece we chose to adapt was the tale of the Ugly Wolverine. ECWIT member, Debbie Brown, decided to take a Hamiltonesque approach to the children's tale and it was a hit with young and old alike.
Over the pandemic, ECWIT created the following virtual version of the adaptation for all to enjoy.
